The problem

Mystery boxes are a category buyers approach carefully, because the usual complaint is that what arrives is not what was advertised. The shop had to settle that before the sale rather than answer it afterwards, and hold two separate ranges, English and Japanese, each with its own ladder of tiers.

What we built

• An online shop split into English and Japanese ranges, each running from an entry box up to the top tier
• Product pages that state the guaranteed rarities and the pack counts, so what is fixed and what is random is clear before checkout
• The condition, value and legitimacy questions answered on the page instead of by email afterwards
• Dispatch times and tracked delivery shown as part of the offer
