The problem

A supplier with a counter, a deep catalogue and customers who arrive knowing the brand they want rather than the category it sits in. The shop had to carry the whole range without becoming something you can only search, and serve barbershops buying for the business alongside people buying one clipper.

What we built

  • An online shop carrying the full range, from clippers, trimmers and blades through to salon furniture
  • Browsing organised by the brands barbers ask for by name, Wahl, Andis, BaByliss, Bluebeards and the rest, alongside the usual categories
  • Trade accounts, so a barbershop buying regularly is set up differently from a single order
  • Instalment payments, a delivery threshold and customer reviews shown at the point they matter

The result

A catalogue of over a hundred ranges that a barber can get through by brand name, with trade customers and one-off buyers served by the same shop.
